Happy Halloween!

This Halloween stuff is pretty cool. I got to dress up like a Ninja, and I got to go visit Granny, Aunt Barbie and Grandma and Grandpa! Plus, everywhere I went, I got candy. I got a little confused at Grandma and Grandpa's house, though, and tried to give it back. Oh well, It was still lots of fun. I think I'll do it again tomorrow.

The Mall is Fun!

Last weekend, Mommy and Daddy took me shopping at the Mall. At first, I wasn't too thrilled to go, but then I saw this really cool playground! Daddy and I stayed while Mommy went and shopped some more. I climbed and ran and jumped, and once, when a Big Girl pushed me down, Daddy got into a little altercation with the Girl's Mommy... I had so much fun that Daddy took me back today! It was a little strange, though. Today, there were lots of Mommys there, but my Daddy was the only Daddy... All the Mommys kept looking at him funny, but we had a great time anyway!

Lights!

A game that Mommy and I play is "Turn the Lights On and Off" and I really enjoy it. I like it so much that I figured out a way to play by myself when Mommy is busy, like the other night when she was cooking dinner. I just move my high chair over next to the switch, climbed up, and Voila! Lights! Mommy saw the lights go on and off, and she didn't know what was happening. She thought that maybe I was doing it with my mind. Hmmm... Maybe that's next...

Pizza!!!

Yesterday, Daddy took me by his work, and there was an empty pizza box there. I saw it, and I really wanted some! I started yelling "Pi-A!" "Pi-A!" "Pi-A!" at the top of my lungs, and guess what? Daddy got me some!

An Ode to Anne Geddes

Mommy says the whole "babies in flowerpots" thing has already been done, but I don't think it's been done quite like this before. Anne Geddes, eat your heart out!

Wal-Mart

Mommy and Daddy almost never go to Wal-Mart, because it's crowded, and noisy, and the people are usually grumpy. Mommy says it's not worth all that just to save $.27 on a pack of underwear. But last week, we went, and I found this REALLY COOL HAT! I wore it all over the store, and after much debate, Mommy and Daddy let me bring it home! Maybe Wal-Mart isn't so bad after all!

Helping Mommy

Mommy really likes it when the floors are clean, so sometimes I help her out and wipe up messes. I'll have to tell you, though, it just plumb tuckers me out!

A cute girl hooked me up with a sweet ride.

My friend Kinsey is an Older Woman (she's 4) and she outgrew her toy Jeep that REALLY RUNS, so she told her Mommy that she wanted me to have it. Now it's MINE! I drove all over the yard today, and even Daddy rode it a little bit. It's so much fun, but steering is pretty hard. I ran over Mommy a few times, and mostly I just go in circles, but I'll get the hang of it pretty soon, and when I do, it's time for a roadtrip! Look out Granny, here I come!

My big boy bed.

The other day, Mommy put me in my baby bed for a nap, but I wasn't sleepy, so I used my climbing skills and climbed out. Mommy and Daddy seemed to think that was a big deal, and flapped around trying to figure out what to do about it. Finally, they decided to turn my crib into a big boy bed!

I like it ever so much better. I can get in and out whenever I want, and now when Mommy or Daddy puts me to bed, I don't have to stay if I don't feel like it. Last night when Daddy put me to bed, I had Blankie, Pillow and Bear with me. This morning when Mommy came in to get me, I also had two Frogs, two more Blankies, some books, a flashlight, and a wooden Puppy. Mommy said "Oh, Dear" a lot, but I don't know what the big deal is, do you?

Where a kid can be a kid.

Today, Mommy and Daddy took me to the best place ever! They kept calling it Chuck E. Cheese, but I like to call it Heaven. There was pizza, and fizzy drinks, and fun rides, and games ,and prizes, and cute girls, and other kids to play with, and I had SO MUCH FUN! Mommy and Daddy promised we would go back soon, but I don't think it will be soon enough for me.

When Daddy's in charge...

Sometimes Mommy has to go to work and leaves Daddy and me to our own resources. When that happens, things go a little bit differently than they do when Mommy is home. For example, Daddy thinks it's lots of fun (and I agree!) to have waffles for breakfast, and to eat breakfast while sitting on the couch with my Blankie and pillow, AND he lets me watch tv while I eat. I love Mommy and Daddy both bunches and bunches, but I'll tell you a little secret - Daddy sure knows how to have a good time!

Mommy took me to get a haircut.

Usually, Daddy takes me to get my hair cut, where (according to Daddy) I sit nicely in the chair, smile at everyone, and am an utter delight to be around. Daddy has had to work a lot lately, so Mommy took me today, because she said I was starting to look like a hippie. Here are a few things that I now know for sure:

1. Those haircut chairs spin around REALLY fast.
2. It really DOES hurt when you grab the scissors.
3. It is utterly impossible for me to sit still for more that 3.65 seconds. Mommy timed it for me.
4. Mommy's glasses will travel up to 7 yards and break into 3 pieces if thrown by me, AND, perfect strangers will help to gather all the pieces up and put them back together.
5. Mommy's eye twitches back and forth for a long time after I get a haircut. I wonder why that is?

Mommy says we can try again when I'm about 8, and in the meantime, to not be surprised if you see me with hair barrettes.

Mommy calls me a daredevil

I can't imagine what she could possibly be talking about, can you?
